Safety Testing
Assessment of irritation, allergic response and usability on human skin.

Test items

A repeated-patch skin irritation test: the substance is patched cumulatively over 3 weeks and the degree of irritation is assessed.
A primary irritation test conducted on subjects with sensitive skin identified through pre-screening.
The substance is patched cumulatively for 3 weeks, followed by a 2-week rest period and a challenge application, to assess sensitization response.
Subjective stinging and usability are assessed by questionnaire after product use under real-use conditions.
Product-use suitability is assessed on subjects with acne-prone skin.
Standards & approvals
